Greenville Cape Full Renovation
The idea of a renovation is not always to totally change the look of a home, but to enhance the style of the home while keeping its original appeal. While doing this you can also add light and space to a home that will help it reach its potential. Dormer windows were added on the front and rear of this home to open up the first floor living areas and bring in natural light. New siding and an updated main entrance finished the look for the exterior. On the interior the goal was to take advantage of the new bright areas and bring in some new finishes that match the owner’s style. The Owner’s Suite was also a priority on this project so we creating a wood ceiling detail in the bedroom and completely remodeled the bath with classic finishes.
Malvern Full Home Renovation
Working with clients that have a vision for a property and helping them see it through is always a rewarding process. When these clients purchased their home, many would say that it did not need to be remodeled as it was already an impressive property. What the clients did with this home took this impressive property to the next level. A full exterior renovation included adding stone and siding as well a lower and upper deck overlooking the pool. The interior was completely redone with some structural changes of adding a split stair, removing walls to enlarge the kitchen, creating a new dining room, and creating a family entry on the first floor that allowed the laundry to be moved to the second floor. Once the structural work was complete the new finishes throughout the home helped the property reach its full potential.
Villanova Addition & Full Home Renovation
This Megill Homes transformation comes to us from Villanova, PA. This home was taken down all the way to the first floor before the home magicians went to work. Brand new Family Room, Kitchen, Mudroom, and Master Bedroom were added. Then, the home was built completely back up into a dream residence you see in these pictures. Many thanks to the owners of this gorgeous home for entrusting the creation of their dream, custom home to Megill Homes.
Spring Meadow Addition & Full Home Renovation
The owners of this property had several goals in mind when they contacted us for this large renovation: Create a larger family room and updated kitchen, create a mudroom/ laundry room/ full bath on first floor for their busy family, add a third garage bay, and totally revamp the exterior look of the house. All of these goals were met along with some added touches like full stone fireplace in family room that can be viewed from all sides as you access the basement. This will also be a great look from the exterior as you can see the stone from the back yard where there are future plans for a matching stone fireplace and patio. The Foyer and Dining Room were also expanded to get some much needed room and to help with the new exterior look. A master closet on the second floor and stairs to area above the new three car garage where a future room is now possible were also added.
Garnet Valley Bathroom
The two most important areas we see in our renovation business are the Kitchen and Bathrooms. This client had redone their kitchen a few years back and now set their sights on a modern, spacious owner’s bathroom. There is truly something special about have your own peaceful oasis away from the world in your own home.
Kennett Square Interior Renovation
Sometimes our clients find the almost perfect home on the resale market but they wanted to make it their own. Renovations to homes that have been built in the past twenty years do not always need additions to get the space today’s buyers desire. This home has a great layout and really just needed a new look to fit the client’s needs. A new Kitchen and Bathroom gives any home the new home feeling and that is where we started on this project. From there we redid the laundry room, removed some dated interior columns, created some unique trim details and refinished all the hardwood floors.
