At Megill Custom Homes and Renovations, homebuilding isn’t just our business — it’s our family tradition. Since 1969, we’ve dedicated ourselves to designing homes that are as unique as the families who live in them. Founded by Wayne Megill Sr., and now led by Wayne Jr. and Scott Megill, we remain grounded in the same principles we started with: listen closely, build with care, and treat every project as if it were our own home. Megill Homes just completed a kitchen renovation for us, and we are thrilled with their work! All the Megill employees (as well as all the subcontractors they used) did a fantastic job, and they all were very helpful, accommodating and considerate with our home. My wife and I were relocating from Northern New Jersey so we needed somebody who could handle all facets of our home renovation in Pocopson. Not being local added a lot of stress to the project. Our broker recommended Megill, and they were top notch in executing our renovation. They have a great reputation for a reason.

First off, the construction (new kitchen, master bath floors etc.) was perfect. They asked for guidance where needed but did all sorts of things that one doesn’t think about to make the project perfect. Shaun, our project manager, was great to deal with. We liked that he always provided an opinion or suggestion when asked. He went the extra mile in pointing things out to us. At the end, he fixed some items we had not thought about but bothered us; no questions asked.

The Megill Team was very professional. They provided a “Look Book” so we could see what our choices would look like. There were a lot of design decisions that had to be made that we had not initially thought about. The Megill Team was very patient with us as we worked through things. Not to be overlooked, Megill had a great network of vendors from whom we could buy lighting, appliances and extra electrical. All the vendors had worked with Megill for many years which made the whole process go smoothly.

All in all, major home renovations are always stressful (we had done several in the past) but doing things long distance when you don’t know the local lay of the land added additional stress. We were fortunate that Megill was there to handle things for us.

We used Megill Homes to renovate our master and hall baths in the fall of 2019. After getting estimates and layouts from 3 other contractors, Megill was able to check all the boxes with an innovative spa-like redo. We used their showroom & design consultant to pick out all of our fixtures, cabinetry, tile and flooring and were able to choose the specific quartz slabs we wanted for our countertops. Their project manager kept the process moving smoothly, lining up the subcontractors when needed. We couldn’t be more pleased with the final result!

Megill Homes Inc. was wonderful, prompt, clean, professional, timely and we got a beautiful, very securely built addition to our home. The workers were very polite and nice, the foreman was absolutely great and the McGill’s themselves checked in during the project. I would HIGHLY recommend them to anyone who would be interested in an addition or building a whole new home. They committed to do the work and did a first class job in a timely fashion. We are very pleased.

The Megill team expertly helped our firm renovate an old residence on Rt. 52 into a charming office where we comfortably and proudly serve clients. They collaborated carefully with our Architects and did an outstanding job!
